Background : SoundBooth is a music and sound production company that develops audio branding strategies for a variety of applications. Soundbooth comprises a global network of award winning producers, operating in many fields from song composition to sound design. Soundbooth competes with cheap online audio digital downloads. To differentiate against these inferior products, SoundBooth wanted to highlight that their sounds are original and designed to appeal to specific target markets. Many of SoundBooth’s projects come from other creative companies (advertising agencies, brand consultancies, post production studios etc).
Solution : Lucas Melbourne helped SoundBooth develop a creative solution that appealed to creative people. We developed an unexpected library of images to communicate the unique attributes of SoundBooth’s offer. The image library is designed to grow with the company. The logotype was kept deliberately raw and human. We wanted to communicate that SoundBooth’s products are made by people – not a machine. SoundBooth is currently working on projects in Australia and the UAE. Design principals in this project will be applied to SoundBooth’s network of related companies.
