Sunbrella Trade Stands, International Furniture Fair Singapore and Indonesian Furniture Expo Fair 2014 Where art and industry meet
Background : From bale, to yarn, to fabric, Sunbrella control the entire production process. Their approach delivers quality and creates an environment where artisans and industry can meet.
Solution : In order to differentiate Sunbrella, the space highlighted process and celebrated material. Structures were a fusion between an industrial forms and contemporary art installations. Our design solution blurred the line between art and industry. The project was a truly international collaboration – Sunbrella is based in North Carolina, Lucas developed the design from Melbourne and the build was managed from Singapore. The Sunbrella space was nominated for ‘best of show’ in Jakarta.
